Ruby and Darius, two good friends, hang out on a day as idyllic as any other. Always the curious one, as well as harboring a growing crush on Darius, Ruby watches the latest underground anime production at his suggestion: a spicy, parodic isekai that went viral. As they explore more of the hit media and the hub-bub around it, they discover an air of darkness surrounding them and the virtual world they peek into. One they can feel but can't comprehend...

Uncomfortable and unflinching, yet soft-spoken with soul, this two-part comic is a more personal examination of modern youth. Low-key slice-of-life moments intermix with typical anime hijinks to create a surreal portrait of the time spent growing up, as well as revealing the abyss that hides in plain sight.
